Hij woont momenteel in Brikama en heeft daar zijn eigen tassen- en schoenmakerij.<br \/>\nGe\u00efnspireerd door zijn droom om op een dag een eigen bedrijf te hebben, startte hij zijn onderneming uiteindelijk in 2017.<br \/>\nIn 2018 volgde hij de cursus Marketing Essentials van Yepafrica. Hij legt uit dat die cursus hem en zijn bedrijf op verschillende manieren heeft be\u00efnvloed omdat hij er heeft geleerd hoe hij zijn bedrijf kan laten groeien.<\/p>\n<p>Als je hem vraagt of hij zelfstandig is of bij iemand in dienst is, antwoordt hij vol trots dat hij zelfstandig ondernemer is.<br \/>\nVolgens Muhammed werken niet veel Gambianen in de tassen- en schoenmakerij. Dat motiveert hem des te meer om verder te gaan en zijn dromen te realiseren.<br \/>\nMuhammed beschouwt iedereen die hij ziet of kent als een klant. Dat betekent dat veel Gambianen van zijn diensten profiteren.<\/p>\n<p>Muhammed is van mening dat hard werken, vastberadenheid en grote dromen de basisingredi\u00ebnten zijn om een succesvol ondernemer te worden en een succesvol bedrijf te ontwikkelen.<br \/>\nAls belangrijkste uitdagingen en obstakels in zijn ontwikkeling als ondernemer noemt hij een gebrek aan de juiste materialen en financi\u00eble ondersteuning. Hij pakt die uitdagingen aan door op grote schaal te produceren en distribueren en financi\u00eble steun te zoeken.<br \/>\nMuhammeds tassen en schoenen gaan vele jaren mee en worden gemaakt met gebruik van gerecycled materiaal.
