Zijn droom is om zijn eigen succesvolle bedrijf te leiden en te helpen de werkloosheid terug te dringen. Daarnaast wil hij de sociaaleconomische vooruitgang van zijn land verder helpen. Frances werkt momenteel als kamerjongen in het Front Resident Hotel. Hij hoopt op een dag zelfstandig te worden in plaats van werknemer te zijn.<\/p>\n<p>Hij is gemotiveerd om voorlopig als kamerjongen te blijven werken, want op die manier kan hij kennis opdoen en nieuwe vaardigheden leren in de hotelbusiness. Het zijn voornamelijk de toeristen die profiteren van zijn diensten, maar ze zijn niet de enigen.<\/p>\n<p>Frances is succesvol omdat hij hard werkt en hij heeft het zelfvertrouwen en het doorzettingsvermogen om zich te ontwikkelen tot ondernemer. Maar behalve dat gelooft hij dat goed financieel management is vereist, een vaardigheid die hij heeft opgedaan tijdens de cursus Marketing Essentials van Yepafrica die hij volgde in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Gebruikmakend van die vaardigheden kan Frances geld opzij zetten en leningen en subsidies aanvragen om zijn eigen bedrijf op te zetten. Hij hoopt dat hij de belangrijkste uitdagingen en obstakels, namelijk gebrek aan basismaterialen en financi\u00eble middelen, kan overkomen om zijn droom te realiseren.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens Frances is de toeristische sector een bron van inkomsten voor veel Gambianen.
